The next meeting of the Farmington Writers Circle will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Hastings Hardback Café on 20th Street. The topic of the evening will be a round table on contests and other publication opportunities. Participants are encouraged to bring information on contests and other publication opportunities to share with the other participants in an open discussion. The meeting is open to the general public.

The topic will be a continuation of the February topic on how to set up a blog and will be led by Phil Slattery, owner of this blog. The discussion at the last meeting concentrated on a broad strategy behind setting up a blog followed by some work on individual websites as well as questions and answers. Everyone is welcome to attend. There is no charge. The March session will concentrate on more details involving the use of WordPress as a blogging platform.
